Privacy Policy
The Alleman Apiary is a small family-run apiary in Harrisburg, PA. We collect only what we need to answer your questions, schedule services, fulfill orders, and stay in touch about your bees or honey. We do not sell or share your personal information.

What we collect
When you call, text, or email us, we receive the contact details you choose to share — typically your name, phone number, email address, the address where bees are located, and any photos or descriptions you send. If you place a honey order, reserve a nuc or queen, or book apiary services, we keep a record of that transaction. If you visit our website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may log standard request information such as your IP address, browser, and the pages you visited, which is used to keep the site secure and reliable.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to inquiries, schedule and complete services, fulfill honey and nuc/queen orders, send order or appointment confirmations, and occasionally follow up about seasonal availability. We do not send marketing texts or emails unless you specifically ask to be on a list (for example, the spring nuc reservation list).
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade your contact details. We do not share your information with third parties for advertising. We do not run advertising trackers on this website.
Who we share with
We share only what's needed to do the work: payment processors (such as CashApp, Venmo, or Square) handle payment information directly, and our website is hosted by Cloudflare. If you ask us to refer your job to a sister business (such as Lawns Plants & Pests LLC for non-bee pest or lawn work), we'll pass along only the details needed to help you.
How long we keep it
We keep customer records (orders, services performed, nuc/queen reservations) for as long as needed for our records, accounting, and any applicable PA Department of Agriculture reporting. Casual inquiries that don't lead to a job are typically cleared from texts and email within a year.
Cookies
This website does not set tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may use minimal technical cookies for security and performance.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to delete your contact information, opt out of future follow-ups, or send you a copy of what we have on file. Just call, text, or email and we'll take care of it.
